Like most, I'm strictly mp3 nowadays, but I still buy CD's to have a permanent physical copy. Some Blu-Rays have a digital copy for download. They are not exclusive.

MP3 did not replace the CD, they replaced the blank cassette taped.

“The (catch is) the experience is movies and TV shows on Zune video will automatically scale to the best possible resolution based on the speed of your connection. For example, if you have a 6 Mbps connection, you’ll still get 1080p and a great audio experience, but may not get 5.1. And as a back-up, anyone can have a 1080p/5.1 experience, but they may be required to download the content instead of streaming it if they don’t have an 8 – 10 Mbps broadband connection.”

On average...

Thanks for showing Tina and Laura. Those two are the reasons I started watching G4, along with the Judgment Day guys.

If by “Sony”, you mean having a 60 million lead in consoles sold, then Wii is ALMOST a Sony, and both Microsoft and Xbox are both Game Cubes.

We need to stop acting like third place means the end of Sony, especially so soon. There is absolutely no merit to it.

and playable. My friend's teenage daughter loves Gears (she's even help me out in some spots), but she's interested in games with female leads.

"why are you bringing microsoft and xbox into the discussion when i NEVER mentioned either one?? "

"6 bilion dollars of red ink in less than 3 years is the real moral of this story. Sony is the underdog because they can't afford to compete with cash rich companies like microsoft (25 billion in cash) and nintendo."

I see both Microsoft and Nintendo in there, so you mentioned them ...and Sony isn't broke. In business you take risks. Just like when...

it is not because of the XBox, it is because of the Wii. In that case we have two underdogs. Without the Wii, comparing the 360 and PS3, there isn't much of a difference to call one an underdog.

Of course the PS3 has sold less, but one company has to. This isn't a zero-sum game people. I consider both consoles successful. The rest is your personal choice and views. But if RROD isn't that big of a deal, then the PS3 price isn't either.

but I hate exclusive content. Even if you are only mildly disappointed, recognize that PS3 owners get the rawest deal out of this exclusive DLC jazz.

I was wondering how they'd pull off the dual guns.

It can easily flop as well. I think Sony has the healthier attitude to motion controls. Nintendo's nunchuk was the wiimotes saving grace. Natal seems iffy, more interesting for voice recognition.

they debuted last gen. First Sony, then Nintendo, now Microsoft...

Although the technology is promising and has its place, it has not been the success we're expecting to be. Natal is more hype than anything right now, but it isn't going to change the core gaming experience. We're 'looking back' because there is nothing truly to look forward to, just the same old promises.

This time the burden of proof are on the big 3.

Batman: Arkham Asylum, Uncharted 2, Quantum, and Assassin's Creed 2.

I conceded and will buy a 360 for Mass Effect 2 and Alan Wake in 2010.

Microsoft beat Sony to On Demand Gaming! Should have expected. I think it's child's play for them to add these features. Its what the Gates Boy do best!!

I've been toying with getting an XBox, this might...nah! I said I'll wait till Christmas, and I will.

the walking and the distractions. If you only go there once every two-three weeks like me, a major update can be mildly overwhelming. The potential of HOME is scary. Imagine updates to HOME occurring as often as PS Store updates.

I don't so much mind the walking itself; the walking leads to distractions. I go in and I see a new costumes and clothes 'OMG! Frickin' Hamsters! Getting that!' I stop to see trailers are on Mall screens. 'Is that 50 Cent in the background?' I'll w...

people thinking like this shouldn't be allow to procreate. I make these type of comparisons for a living, and I would fear for my reputation if I had such a conclusions.

Only PS3 sales can be compared to PS3 sales in this case to make such a judgment, a judgment that really doesn't tell you much of anything...

for a good deal of Mac users it is. PC's are pedestrian. Macs are snobbish and pretentious - the high price point is the draw for some folks.
